We found this great Yves Saint Laurent film on You Tube.  It was shot here at the studios and was used to promote the SS 2009 Mens collection, enjoy……

Welcome to the shiny new Park Royal Studios blog!!! We are pretty thrilled to start sharing all our news and decided a good place to start would be a potted history of the studios.  Then, over the next few days we will also be posting a mini retrospective of some of the amazing work that has been created here over the years.

So here we go……Once upon a time back in the late eighties, 1987 in fact, Park Royal Studios was established. It was the brainchild of Mr Nick Paulo. After travelling by boat from Singapore to the bright lights of London in the early sixties, Nick became involved in the photography and studio hire business, working with photographers such as David Bailey, Norman Parkinson and Lord Lichfield. After setting up his first photographic studio in Covent Garden he went on to open a studio in Haydens place near Portobello Road and then in 1987 he set up Park Royal.

As the story goes, Park Royal Studios was the ‘first car studio in London’! Brilliant! And originally started as two studios evolving into the 6 studio complex we know and love today, catering for not only the car industry but also fashion, film, TV, music, events…………
