About Park Royal Studios

Founded with a passion for creativity and community, Park Royal Studios has been at the heart of London’s photography and filming scene since 1987. What started as a family dream has grown into one of the most respected and loved studios in the UK, renowned for its welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, exceptional service, and dedication to the craft.

Our story begins back in the 1960s when Nicholas Paulo left Singapore for the UK to start a new life in London. Together with his brothers Carl and Claude, they started a small E6 film processing lab in Covent Garden. It was a creative hub in its own right, a place buzzing with new ideas and possibilities. 
Fast forward to 1987, and we found a new home in Park Royal.

Here, the studio evolved into a space for the industry’s brightest stars, keeping pace with every major shift in photography and film, from analogue to digital and everything in between. Through it all, we’ve stayed true to our roots: a commitment to artistry, innovation, and the people behind the lens.
